 "I love taking pictures, especially when my subjects are varied, with a little bit of everything: Fashion, Jazz, Classical Dance, my children, landscapes and also the street. I never wanted my work to be categorized. Fashion may be what is for sale but a girl on the subway can be fashionable, a Jazzman can be fashionable and a ballerina on her barre can be fashionable too. I've always liked to incorporate my interests into my photography and that's reflected in my latest book, The Big Picture, which is a 45 year work." 

About  Arthur Elgort:

Arthur Elgort was born in 1940 and raised in New York City. His style of freedom and spontaneity and spontaneity certainly comes from his passion for music and dance, especially jazz and ballet. His career is marked by prestigious collaborations for fashion campaigns around the world. Arthur has quickly become one of the most renowned and acclaimed photographers. He has helped to create a different vision of fashion photography.
