The provocative Israeli
Ron Kedmi was born in Jaffa, Israel. He studied at the Beaux-Arts in Paris, one of the most prestigious art schools in Europe. His work has been exhibited in the Tel Aviv Museum and The Jewish Museum of Art. He won the Israeli Fashion Oscar for Best Photographer in 1999, 2000, and 2001. He has been working as a fashion and publicity photographer since 1989, completing projects in Tel Aviv, London, New York, Milan, and Paris for companies such as L’Oreal Paris, Coca-Cola and Pepsi, and magazines such as Photo Italy, GQ UK, GQ Italy, and Maxim Italy. He has worked with some of the most popular models in the fashion industry such as Claudia Schiffer and Bar Rafaeli. He held an exhibit at the Ramat Gan Art Museum that featured photographs from his personal collection that had never before been featured in major publications.
His work sold out in a week. He is known for his extraordinarily diverse and imaginative work. In recent years he’s used a special art technique that he developed using hybrid approaches involving photography and classical painting.
